Project Dogwaffle是一款免费且优秀的彩绘/油画软件，画笔与画纸的功能齐全，搭配内建的特效滤镜，建立起「计算机即画室」的新概念；创新的分子功能，能真实、快速制作树叶、杂草、毛发效果， 提供只有在3D动画软件才有的光线及进阶的光晕系统；Dogwaffle还支持数字绘图板感压笔的功能。
      
      Project Dogwaffle是很早的软件了，是作者于2004年发布的免费版，相比商业版仅缺少高级层(Advanced Layer)和脚本(Scripting Tools)功能，其他是一应俱全，功能上类似与ArtRage及WizardBrush，但Project Dogwaffle是免费软件，另一款Artweaver也不错；Dogwaffle的程序文件很乱，不过使用很简单，找到主程序 dogwaffle.exe 打开即可，若报错再运行 !)Install.bat，卸载运行 !)Uninstall.bat，Vista/Windows 7下注意都必须用管理员权限运行。

      Project Dogwaffle的英文主页貌似在墙外，不过有台湾版的，见Digivision；Project Dogwaffle是一种Raster graphics editor(直译为“光栅图形编辑器”)，其实我也不太明白具体的概念，有兴趣的可以参考WikiPedia，更多Raster graphics editor可见这里。
